DeAngelo Williams is focused on Pittsburgh's opener against New England despite the birth of his son Friday. Charles LeClaire/USA TODAY SportsralphlaurenFoster suffered a groin injury in the Texans' first fully padded practice of training camp, which took place on Aug. 3. He had surgery Aug. 7 to repair the injury that involved a muscle being torn from the bone. Sports hernia specialist Dr. William Meyers performed the surgery in Philadelphia.Confidence in Joseph Randle is just as much about not trusting Darren McFadden to stay healthy as it is about Randle's ability. Dennis Wierzbicki/USA TODAY SportsGreen Bay Packers: I say Jeff Janis, currently being undrafted, is a top-30 wide receiver this season. My thinking: As of this writing, Jordy Nelson is out for the year, Randall Cobb is banged up and Ty Montgomery is considered the favorite for the third-down role, so I like Janis, who is truly the best remaining deep threat on the team. I believe he'll be a bit of a fantasy whack-a-mole, but that offense needs to take shots deep. Janis, who has scored multiple times in the preseason, will be a poor man's Torrey Smith/DeSean Jackson type for Green Bay and wind up top-30.marco polo kidsAtlanta Falcons: I say Julio Jones has the best fantasy football season for a wide receiver in the history of the NFL. My thinking: Well, I wanted to do a bold prediction for the guy I already have ranked No. 3 among wideouts, so there you go. But with no run game to speak of and a defense that should struggle, Atlanta should be throwing early and often. Playing the "X" in Kyle Shanahan's offense, there's a very good chance Jones leads the NFL in targets and, with Matt Ryan as his QB, a very good chance he catches most of them. With the New England Patriots thin at receiver save for Julian Edelman, the Pittsburgh Steelers plan to make tight end Rob Gronkowski earn every yard -- and he'll have to shed constant contact to do it.Also for the Giants, linebacker Jon Beason returned to practice with a "thick brace" on his left knee, per the Daily News. The run-stuffer hasn't played since spraining his knee in New York's second preseason tilt.
Colleen Wolfe: Colts over Packers. Quarterbackpalooza. Set your DVRs for all the quarterback goodness in this game. Aaron Rodgers plays well; Andrew Luck plays better. Indy wins it all and Luck captures his first title."You could imagine how I felt that day. In a split-second, something can happen, anything can happen. You walk outside and, God forbid, something can happen.ralph lauren rugby australiaIn a mild surprise, the New York Jets' final round of cuts Saturday included quarterbacks Matt Flynn and Josh Johnson, according to sources. Both performed well in the final preseason game as they battled for what appears to be a short-term No. 2 job.Perhaps Cowboys coaches will discover a more engaged Michael once they expand his role."You might see the great cut one time and then not the next, and it's the exact same scenario," Cable said last year. "He comes across and makes a great blitz pickup one play and then he's supposed to chip and then, 'Oh, I'm going to get out for my route, and oops I forgot to chip.' It's just being able to put a good play together and then a good one the next time and the next time. When that becomes his habit, then he owns it. Right now he doesn't own it."
marco polo kidsThough the injury was significant, and surgery was needed to repair a muscle torn from the bone, Foster is healing much more quickly than many expected. There's even optimism from those familiar with his rehab that he'll be back on the field within the first month of the season.marco polo kidsChicago Bears: I say Eddie Royal sets career highs in receptions, which is currently 91. My thinking: Jay Cutler will have to throw it to someone. He and Royal have a rapport from their Denver days, I don't think the Bears' defense will be any good and the receiving corps is all sorts of banged up ... and thin. Royal is one of my favorite sleepers this year.Oakland Raiders: I say Michael Crabtree, currently being drafted as WR58, finishes the season as a top-30 fantasy WR. My thinking: This will be a much-improved offense from last season. There's rookie Amari Cooper, and Latavius Murray and Derek Carr are playing their second seasons. Crabtree looks fully healthy to me, and this team will throw, throw, throw.ralphlaurenESPN Insider Field Yates first reported the Falcons' moves.Second, he'd cost a lot to acquire. Because the Seahawks (who traded for a safety Saturday in an effort to improve their depth and leverage) are willing to wait for Chancellor to crack, they're not going to unload him for nothing. This would cost two good picks, including a first-rounder. And as good as Chancellor is, I don't believe the Giants are at a point in their franchise history where it makes sense to be trading away high picks. Let's just say they're not Kam Chancellor away from this year's Super Bowl.
Gil Brandt: Packers over Patriots. Aaron Rodgers shows why he's the best quarterback in the NFL in what should be a high-scoring game.ralph lauren rugby australia"When he practices, I'll let you know," coach Tom Coughlin told reporters, adding weight to the belief that we'll see Rueben Randle line up with the starters across from Odell Beckham.
That would be running back DeAngelo Williams, who's now a father of three after the birth of a baby boy on Friday.

Pretend we are having a conversation:
Running back Duke Johnson, who was diagnosed with a concussion in the third preseason game, did not practice.

Joseph Hedinger, the public information officer, who is out of the office until Tuesday morning. The police officer who answered the phone said she could provide no information or details. The Browns suspended Moeller indefinitely Monday afternoon.Seattle Seahawks: I say Jimmy Graham has the second-highest touchdown total of his career (currently 11). My thinking: His yardage and receptions will absolutely go down from when he played in New Orleans, but he's a red zone beast on a team that struggles in just one area: red zone passing. His career high for TDs is 16, so even I couldn't be that bold, but 12 is absolutely within reach.
Jeff Fisher said it's "a game time situation" for Tre Mason when the Rams play the Seahawks on Sunday.
Dallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones acknowledged Monday afternoon that newly acquired running back Christine Michael is a "long shot" to suit up versus the New York Giants in the season premiere of NBC's Sunday Night Football.ralphlaurenThe Steelers plan to put their hands on Gronkowski at every chance while inside the 5-yard cushion that allows defensive contact on receiving routes.Coach Chip Kelly said Saturday that he would add a third quarterback, either on the roster or on the practice squad. By claiming Morris off waivers, the Eagles placed him on their 53-man roster.A sixth-round pick of the Jets in 2014, Enemkpali tallied just three tackles over six appearances as a rookie. It remains to be seen if IK's on-field play will ever impact the AFC East to the level of his inglorious locker-room antics.marco polo kidsMiami Dolphins: I say that currently injured rookie wide receiver DeVante Parker ends up with the most fantasy points among Dolphins pass-catchers this season. My thinking: Odell Beckham Jr. has taught us you don't need to play in Week 1 to make an impact. I love Jarvis Landry this season but see him running more short routes like he did last season, with Parker becoming the deep threat and No. 1 WR. His talent is off the charts. He just needs to get healthy, and he's getting close. Then there is the contract issue. Pierre-Paul wants to avoid the reserve/non-football injury list, which would allow the Giants to dock his pay for six games (costing him $5.5 million). The Giants want to avoid paying him all $14.8 million, considering it was an off-the-field injury that likely will cause him to miss time.Denver Broncos: I say Owen Daniels, currently going in the 12th round (12th among tight ends, as well), is a top-five tight end. My thinking: We know Peyton loves tight ends. We know Gary Kubiak loves tight ends. We know Daniels has had success with Kubiak before. And after the big four at tight end, it's a big downtick, so the opportunity is there.

Join or create a league in the No. 1 Fantasy Football game!New England Patriots: I say Tom Brady, on a points-per-game basis, is the best QB in fantasy this season. My thinking: Even though a judge nullified Brady's four-game suspension, the NFL's appeal means we don't know whether he plays 16 games or 12, but I do know this: As long as Brady is on the field, he and the Patriots will be in total "blank-you" mode. He also returns almost all of his offensive starters, including a 100-percent-healthy Rob Gronkowski, a rarity for him.
